I co-founded The Confluence and served as its Head of Policy. The Confluence was Bangladesh’s first English-language policy blog, built in collaboration with the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant. Our goal was to bring Bangladesh’s local context to a global audience through well-researched articles, infographics, and video content. Through this platform, we engaged directly with policymakers across ministries and institutions, and played a role in reshaping how Bangladesh’s development story was understood both at home and abroad.
At The Confluence, our platform published over 100 articles. Out of those, I wrote and published more than 30 research-based pieces, focusing on key issues in economics, labor markets, business, digital transformation, and impactful policy initiatives. Each article was grounded in rigorous data analysis, featured visually engaging infographics, and offered actionable policy recommendations. Beyond domestic analysis, I consistently brought in international comparisons while drawing insights from developed countries like China, the United States, and across Europe in order to contextualize Bangladesh’s challenges and propose globally informed solutions. Our goal was to advance evidence-based policymaking and comparative policy thinking across South Asia.
In this section, I am sharing a curated selection of my published articles and infographics from 2023 to 2024 (2 years).Â
Note: These writings reflect the policy priorities, reform initiatives, and economic conditions under the previous administration in Bangladesh. Since August 2024, the country has entered a new and volatile political chapter marked by significant instability and economic distress. If you are looking for up-to-date policy commentary or economic analysis, I encourage you to refer to trusted news and research platforms. I may share updates in the future, but the current archive does not represent the ongoing political regime or today’s policy and development context.
